So the other day I was reading in Matthew, and stumbled across some things that I thought would make a great lesson/devotion, for all of us. So when Jesus was calling His disciples to follow Him, here’s what happened. From Matthew 4:19-22
‘”Come, follow me,” Jesus said, “I will make you fishers of men.” At once they left their nets and followed Him.
Going on from there, he saw two brothers, James the son of Zebedee and his brother John. They were in a boat with there father Zebedee, preparing their nets. Jesus called to them, and immediately they left their father and followed Him.’
Now the key words that really popped out at me were, at once and immediately. They didn’t even hesitate. It says they immediately followed Him. They didn’t ask their father if they could go, they just went! it didn’t say, ‘a day later they found Jesus and followed Him. No! They went right then, no question! And that is what we need to do in our lives. We need to follow Him, what ever He says, and do it now!
I think the song above really sums it all up, we need to take the back seat and let God lead us!

Hey don’t laugh, it’s good to be different! I’m so excited to be back! I had lots of fun. Now there are two things that I want you guys(and girls, tee hee hee) to do. Okay, three things. The first is what was your favorite Christmas gift. I’ll start, mine was probably, the guitar. Um..yeah or the AMAZING Jamie Grace sweatshirt that my sister got me, or the awesome, awesome socks that my cousin got me. No I’m no kidding on that last one. You already know that I love Jamie Grace, and if you don’t read the previous post, but I have something to tell you. We watched Veggie Tales today. The first thing you are probably wondering how old are you? Well I’m 14, but watch this awesome video and you’ll find out why.
Oh, I love, I love, I love, I love Jamie Grace 🙂 (You’ll get that if you’ve heard Hold Me) She’s one of my favorite singers. At age eleven she was diagnosed with Tourrete Syndrome. That’s why I love her so much, because of how she overcame Tourette Syndrome. Her songs are very inspiring. My favorite one is her new song Beautiful day. And for those of you who haven’t heard it, here it is!!!!
