Mr. Talkbox!!!

You may be wondering why he is called Mr. Talkbox, well it’s because he has something called a ‘talkbox’ that he made up, I think. His real name is Byron Chambers. You can see the talkbox in the video, it is the piano looking thing with the tube he puts in his mouth. He was really fun at the concert and even did a fun little intro for Matthew West. He used to be with Toby Mac’s band, but felt God calling him to go solo! Hope you enjoy this video!

The Claw

I love the little aliens from Toy Story, they are sooooo funny! 😀
They can also teach us a lesson. In all of the Toy story movies the aliens are so fascinated with the claws, and in Toy Story (the first, no number at the end), they are like, ‘the claw is our master’. I think that this is how we should be about God, He is our master. And we should be as fascinated with Him as the aliens are with the claw. I know I am, because of all that I’ve seen Him do! Are you?

Devotion #5

So the other day I was reading in Matthew, and stumbled across some things that I thought would make a great lesson/devotion, for all of us. So when Jesus was calling His disciples to follow Him, here’s what happened. From Matthew 4:19-22
‘”Come, follow me,” Jesus said, “I will make you fishers of men.” At once they left their nets and followed Him.
Going on from there, he saw two brothers, James the son of Zebedee and his brother John. They were in a boat with there father Zebedee, preparing their nets. Jesus called to them, and immediately they left their father and followed Him.’
Now the key words that really popped out at me were, at once and immediately. They didn’t even hesitate. It says they immediately followed Him. They didn’t ask their father if they could go, they just went! it didn’t say, ‘a day later they found Jesus and followed Him. No! They went right then, no question! And that is what we need to do in our lives. We need to follow Him, what ever He says, and do it now!
I think the song above really sums it all up, we need to take the back seat and let God lead us!

Devotion/video

I heard this song for the first time on K-love the other day and fell in love with it. This is now my roll model song, because this is just how I want to live my life. I want everyone to see Jesus in me, when I speak and in whatever I’m doing. Now I know that it may sound weird, but it’s true. But one thing I have to add is that I never try to BE Jesus. I just want to be Christ-LIKE! I hope you like this song! And keep checking my blog I’m going to want you guys to vote for something!

Thanksgiving

Yeah I know you’re probably thinking you’re a little early, but we are going on our Thanksgiving trip a little early so I thought I’d post a thanks giving song for you guys. And here is a fun activity for you. So get a piece of paper (you can even do this one as a family), and then write down ten things (or more) you are thankful for, and then thank God for giving them to you! You could also do something like this!
